Such nostalgic furnishings are reminiscent of lifestyle established by people in old days, creating its peaceful and cozy atmosphere.
Salthouse is an old Japanese style house that stands in Shimanami Kaido, one of the well known sea routes in Japan. It was built through self renovating a 70 years old dental clinic in Hakata Island, famous for its salt, soon after The World War 2.
There are access friendly supermarkets, restaurants, postal office, etc.
Inside the house are microwaves and free drinks. Bringing allowed.
Note: Being a hideaway in the residential area, seaside can’t be seen from its location.
